Product Description

This pair of screens was painted when Kano Tanyu was sixty-five. It represents Mount Fuji and the shore at Miho. The depiction of everyday activities--the village scene on the Mount Fuji screen and brine gathering on the Miho screen--conveys a sense of intimacy and lends a uniquely Japanese feel to Tanyu's work.

Ten full-color, 5 x 7" blank notecards (5 each of two details from Mount Fuji and Seashore at Miho No Matsubara) and 10 white envelopes. ISBN: 0-7649-2164-9
